Contact messages
The CONTACT channel asks for an optional name, required email address, and required message. That information is used only to deliver and respond to the message. Submitting CONTACT does not subscribe you to updates.
Messages are protected with Cloudflare Turnstile and delivered through authenticated email infrastructure. Limited abuse-prevention information may be processed, including a short-lived pseudonymous rate-limit key, form timing, and verification results. The site does not store message content in browser local storage or in a server-side message database.
Contact fields, message text, email addresses, verification tokens, and failure details are never sent to Google Analytics. If Analytics was already allowed, the site may send one fixed contact_message_sent event only after confirmed delivery.
Email updates
When you choose SUBSCRIBE FOR UPDATES, Hostinger Reach collects the email address you enter for one general Junkfeathers updates audience. A Contact message, TIP THE ARTIST interaction, or Analytics choice never enrolls you.
Reach processes the subscription request and sends a confirmation email. Your request remains pending until you use the confirmation link; the website does not treat an accepted request as a confirmed subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link included in update emails.
This website does not operate a separate subscriber database. For privacy questions or requests, use the site’s CONTACT channel.
Analytics is optional
Junkfeathers uses Google Analytics 4 only after you choose ALLOW ANALYTICS. Its purpose is to help Jonathan understand site use in aggregate, such as page views and a small set of interactions with the site’s machines and project links.
If you decline, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded and no Analytics request is made by this site. Your choice is stored locally in your browser so the site can remember it.
What this site measures
After consent, this site may record page views, opening the Communication Machine, a confirmed Contact delivery, a Reach-accepted subscription request, activating the TIP THE ARTIST link, and activating the Orpheus Deck Google Play link. The subscription event is emitted only from Reach’s accepted-request signal, not from a click or attempt. These events use fixed, low-cardinality labels and do not contain names, email addresses, form contents, subscriber details, confirmation tokens, Reach contact IDs, verification results, or exact tuner values.
Google and advertising features
Google provides the measurement service and may set Analytics cookies after consent. This site configures Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals off. It does not install Google Tag Manager or a Google Ads tag in this release.

Contact and Subscribe
CONTACT is a direct-message channel. SUBSCRIBE FOR UPDATES is a separate, email-only double-opt-in channel provided by Hostinger Reach. A Contact message is never treated as subscription consent.
Change your choice
Use ANALYTICS SETTINGS near the footer on any page to allow or decline Analytics later. Declining after previously allowing Analytics prevents future site hits and removes known Google Analytics cookies for this site where the browser permits it.
App privacy
The Orpheus Deck Android app has a separate Orpheus Deck Privacy Policy. Website Analytics does not change the app’s data-handling behavior.
